As drum circle facilitators, Stephanie and Bob serve as guides for those attending the drum circle, helping to create a rewarding experience for all. No prior experience drumming is needed to participate. Drums will be provided. Some of the benefits of group drumming include self-expression, stress reduction, community building, support, family connection, fun, and exercise for the body, mind, and spirit. Group drumming has also been shown to help the immune system by increasing the activity of disease-fighting cells. Drumming in a group has the potential to meet the needs of attendees on various levels at the same time.

Robert began playing the piano and percussion at an early age and music has been a large part of his life ever since. It was during his graduate studies in music therapy at Radford University that Robert became interested in drum circles. He studied drum circle facilitation with Arthur Hull of Village Music Circles and began leading campus drum circles. Robert is now an active member of Pittsburgh's drumming community, facilitating drum circles for local organizations and events. Robert started learning how to play the hammered dulcimer in October 2017, and it quickly became a new passion. In 2019 he competed in and won the Mid-East Regional Hammered Dulcimer Championship in Coshocton, OH. In 2022 Robert took second place in the National Hammered Dulcimer Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS.

Bob and Stephanie are also excited to be a part of the band Steve and the Millers. This is a musical collaboration between Steve Sciulli, Stephanie Miller, and Robert Miller. Steve and the Millers blends acoustic and electronic sounds to create transformative musical experiences.
