Acupuncture Physician, M.D. & Ph.D. Of China

Dr. Mark Li ( WENJIN LI) is a highly experienced acupuncture physician, M.D. and Ph.D. Of China with more than 30 years of combined clinical & research study experience in both Chinese Traditional Medicine and Western Medicine. He is board certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) & is also state certified as a Licensed Acupuncturist by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs.

Dr. Li’s extensive medical experience has been practiced in the Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Neurology, Department of Hematology and Cancer Unit. He was a physician in Fushun Hospital (1982-1984), was an attending physician in First Hospital of China Medical University (1987-1988), an attending physician (1991-1994) and Associate Professor (1994-1997) of People’s Hospital of Peking University. He has also worked in Johannesburg General Hospital of Wits University and The University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine as a Medical Research Officer and visiting scholar for many years. 

Dr. Li specializes in pain management, sports medicine, rehabilitation after car accidents, workers’ compensation, brain and spinal cord injury, and stroke. He also specializes in women issues including PMS, infertility, menopausal, disorder of menstruation and support treatment for gynecologic cancer and other cancers; and in psychoneurosis issues including anxiety, depression, stress, and migraines, with focuses on issues of immunology, endocrine, and cancer related issues as well. Dr. Li has been serving the greater Pittsburgh area as acupuncturist for the last 8 years, in 5 different clinical offices & 4 high level hospitals.
